Handyman in Mayfair

Mayfair porch-front rows — pre-war plaster, tight streets, and jobs done without the fuss.

I’m Tony, and I fix things around Mayfair. Porch-front rows, shoulder to shoulder, most of them up before the war. Real plaster over lath in the older ones, drywall where somebody has been through since — and you have to know which you are drilling into before you start, because they behave nothing alike.

What I do around Mayfair

  • TV and picture mounting on lath-and-plaster as well as drywall, cables kept out of sight
  • Plaster patching that blends instead of leaving a bright square on the wall
  • Painting and touch-ups, matched to whatever is already up there
  • Faucets, toilets and valves replaced with nothing dripping afterwards
  • Front doors and locks that have swollen, dropped or stopped latching
  • Flat-pack furniture built properly and anchored for safety

A local you can actually reach

Parking is tight and the houses are close, so I come with what the job needs and I do not spread out across the block. One craftsman, one van, in and out, cleaned up behind me. You get me on the phone when you call, and me at the door when I say I will be there.
