Baseboard heaters are the thing nobody looks at until the cover is dented, the fins are furred with dust, or one room just never gets warm. Most of the houses I work in around Northeast Philadelphia were built with baseboard heat, and a lot of those units are original. They still work, but they look tired and they collect dust behind the fins where nobody can reach. Replacing a run is a couple of hours, not a renovation — and it changes how a whole room reads.
