Handyman in Fairmount

I'm Tony, the handyman folks around Fairmount call when something needs doing right.

I’m a solo handyman, and I do most of my work right here in Fairmount. I know the older homes up near the Art Museum and the Parkway, the historic rowhomes with their tall ceilings and original plaster that don’t always take a screw or an anchor the way newer walls do. I plan around that instead of fighting it.

What I do around Fairmount

  • TV and picture mounting, set level and anchored into something solid
  • Plumbing fixtures: faucets, toilets, shut-off valves, running toilets
  • Drywall and plaster repair, from small holes to older cracked walls
  • Painting and touch-ups that match what’s already on the wall
  • Furniture assembly, done right so it stays sturdy
  • Doors and locks: sticking doors, new deadbolts, hinges that sag

A local you can actually reach

It’s just me, so when you call, you get the person doing the work, not a dispatcher. I show up when I say I will, I understand how these Fairmount-style homes are put together, and I answer my phone. If you’re a little outside the neighborhood, I also help folks over in Spring Garden and Brewerytown.
