Handyman in Bustleton

Bustleton is my own neighborhood — post-war twins, driveways and baseboard heat.

I’m Tony, and Bustleton is where I’m based. This is home turf. The twins and ranchers around here mostly went up in the fifties and sixties, and a lot of them are still running original baseboard heat behind dented covers, with siding that has taken sixty winters. I know these houses because I live among them.

What I do around Bustleton

  • Baseboard heat — tired covers and whole units swapped out, floor left clean
  • Exterior siding, trim and garage surrounds scraped back and repainted
  • TV and picture mounting, cables run inside the wall rather than down it
  • Flat-pack furniture built solid and anchored — including the awkward pieces
  • Drywall and plaster patched and painted to match what is already there
  • Doors and locks that stick, sag or won’t latch

A local you can actually reach

Being based here means I am usually minutes away rather than across the city, and I can often look at something the same day you ask. It is just me — one craftsman who shows up when he says he will and does the work himself. When you call, you get me, not a dispatcher. I cover Bustleton and everything around it: Somerton, Rhawnhurst, Fox Chase and the rest of the Northeast.
